Join Nuit Rose for our annual drag contest fundraiser, Drag in a Bag! This Family Day long weekend, eight fearlessly fierce contestants will take to the stage and show us if they have what it takes to snatch the crown jewels and become belle of the ball. Contestants choose a song to perform, receive a bag with an ensemble inside, then get into hair and makeup.
Hosted by Allysin Chaynes and Fay Slift, with surprises by Toronto’s drag royalty, this night is sure to make you laugh. If you’re brave, this might even be your moment to lip-sync for the crown and take the title of Princess Bougie Bejewelled.
Featuring a hilariously twisted half-time show by your creepy uncle, Skipper Meds!
Saturday February 17, The 519 Church Street Community Centre Ballroom
Doors Open at 7:00 pm
Admission $10 online, $15 at the door
Cash Bar, 19+ EVENT
The 519 is an accessible space.
Drag in a Bag is a fundraising event for Nuit Rose, Toronto’s fabulous festival of queer art and performance. We will be returning for our fifth anniversary edition in June 2018. Come out to support queer art and win the Family Jewels.
