Nuit Rose Light Parade

led by Red Pepper Spectacle Arts

The Throbbing Rose Collective, organizers of Nuit Rose wish to remember the victims of Orlando with a celebration of light and transformation, our Light Parade.

The Light Parade is an open, community event that begins at sunset. Wear or carry a light-emitting object and come walk with us! Beginning at Norman Jewison Park, east of Yonge Street, the parade will proceed through the parkettes and then onto Church Street. The LIGHT PARADE is designed and led by Red Pepper Spectacle Arts, producers of the annual Kensington Market Winter Solstice Celebration.

Red Pepper Spectacle Arts co-creates and facilitates multidisciplinary collaborative art engagement cross-culturally and primarily within the Native community. Located in the heart of Toronto’s Kensington Market, the organization works inter-generationally and with social services agencies, community organizations, municipalities, band councils, neighborhoods, and other arts organizations towards greater social justice, accessibility, and equality in cultural production.
