Nuit Rose Light Parade

The Nuit Rose Light Parade is the first parade of Pride month, returning for its third year on Saturday June 17th. The annual parade is free and open to the public. To join in, you simply need to wear or carry a light-emitting object. This year’s festival theme is What Lies Between Venus and Mars?  Visitors from space are also welcome.

The pedestrian parade route spans the Toronto parkettes (east of Yonge Street, north of Wellesley), starting at James Canning Gardens (15 Gloucester St), proceeding across Isabella Street and south on Church Street to Wood Street. Designed and led by Red Pepper Spectacle Arts, producers of the Kensington Market Winter Solstice Parade, the Nuit Rose Light Parade is generously sponsored by Pride Toronto.

Come to our free lantern-building workshop and light up the night!

Meet at 9PM at James Canning Gardens (Dundonald St. between Yonge and Church).
