Join Nuit Rose and help to build queer art in our community!

After three successful editions, the late-night, queer art and performance festival, Nuit Rose, is growing to include new collective members. The Throbbing Rose Collective, the organizers of Nuit Rose, consists of arts producers, curators, coordinators, programmers, art enthusiasts and artists.

Nuit Rose is a community-based festival, featuring new media, visual and performance art, film, music, theatre and dance – in neighborhoods throughout Toronto, during Pride. To date, Nuit Rose has presented over 120 artists and projects from Canada, the US, Mexico, Jamaica, Italy and Spain. This year we are asking our artists, “What is Between Venus and Mars?” and hope to see a wide range of interpretations and projects ideas.

Nuit Rose offers a space for new queer voices in the arts, and we would like to hear yours. We are looking for skilled and talented community members and arts workers to make Nuit Rose an even bigger spectacle in 2017. Show your interest by joining our Facebook event or by e-mailing us. For more information, you can visit our Volunteer page.

We will be hosting an information night for anyone interested in joining our collective on:

Monday, November 28
7:30 PM – 10:00 PM
519 Community Centre, Room 204
